Pilgrimage to the Holy Land...

Good day!

Well, as usual, the busy life of a small doggie keeps me so occupied, I barely have time to post in this thing...

Yes, a pilgrimage to the Holy Land last Wednesday... that is, Green Bay, Wisconsin, Lambeau Field... Not exactly the frozen tundra in July... but this is the place.

Yes, I was there for the 2007 Shareholders Meeting. Not that I'm a shareholder, but I got somebody's tickets.

Nice place. We toured the stadium, saw the luxury boxes and club seats... pretty nice.

They just re-sodded the field, a complete re-do of what was there... they had a video of what it took. Looked like a lotta work to me. In case you're wondering, yes, this is the cushioned wall where they do the "Lambeau Leap" after a touchdown... no players were there. I felt pretty safe. Those guys in suits didn't look like they were going to get that much air...

Big Statue of Vincent T. "Vince" Lombardi outside... very impressive. He looked like he was getting ready to tell me to take another lap...

That's a big statue... I'm just a small doggie.

Very nice place, though.

"Beady Eyes" Tedly Thompson spoke at the Shareholder's Meeting... if you can call it speaking. 5th grade public speaking classes are more scintillating than that guy. And he had nothing to say. He says "be patient" on our absurd draft, because "these kids are gonna be good football players." He says he's trying to win NOW. Uh huh... after that draft, and our offseason, I can only conclude we're in total rebuilding mode, and the only person who didn't get the memo was Brett Favre.

Not a word about the Jones fiasco... not one word.

Weird Uncle Teddy aside, it was a great day, really fun. The Doc went along, which was great.

Ahem, now then, I have an important nap to take.... see ya next time!
