"Barkeep Gimmeee a Driiink... That's when she caught my eye.....

I'm BACK in the saddle agaiiin......"

Thank you Steven Tyler.... I'm back!

Sorry to keep you in suspense there.... you certainly noticed the Million Dollar Bill. Pretty handy, when you need a few new Harleys, and a huge garage to put them in.... oh yeah.

Our National Debt right now is around 9 Trillion Dollars.... that's hard to imagine. It really is. So let's put it in perspective....

That is a One Million Dollar Bill. One Million Dollars. Now, there's 480 of those to a pound. A pound of those bills is 480 Million Dollars. An insane amount of money. Bigger than the biggest Powerball Jackpot in history. If you stack the 480 Million Dollar Bills pretty tight, it's a brick about 4 inches high. Which by the way, I found out using singles, so I'm not making this up.

A staggering amount of money, that one brick. That's no joke, 480 Million dollars. To put that in terms you can understand, the very exotic and desireable Ferrari F50, when they were making them, was a $500,000 car... which obviously, is more than most people spend on their house... but for $480 Million Dollars, you could buy 960 Ferrari F50's... which would basically fill your local mall's parking lot....

That's one brick. One. Unfortunately, the 9 trillion dollars is.... 18,750 bricks!!! Yes, that's almost ten freaking tons of cash.... in Million Dollar Bills, keep in mind, 480 million to the pound.... ten tons. Enough cash, again, packed super tight, to fill a moving truck. In million dollars bills.... staggering, isn't it???

So, the question Alex Trebek was looking for was, "What is the national debt?" Here's something even scarier, if you believe the people who say "Well, this country has a huge economy, that's a relatively small number..." Yeah, well, for every adult who has a full time job, that debt represents roughly a backpack with $50,000 in debt in it... not what I'd call "small"... as someone who is working hard to eliminate debt, $50,000 scares me.... so, have fun carrying your backpack today....

If you're not reading Richard Daughty's "The Mogambo Guru" Column, you should be. Check it out at http://www.kitco.com/ind/Daughty/mar212007.html

Go to Kitco.com for all kinds of interesting info... also, golddealer.com is excellent, for buying precious metals of a variety of flavors....

Okay, enough of that heavy stuff.... I flew the helicopter at work again, and flew it well.... real nice. I'm gonna order a body kit and a motor. I also have to figure out how to discuss with a tech support person, the particulars of that motor. I read somewhere there is some kind of warranty on my helicopter... so maybe they'd slide me a motor?? We'll see. Also, to be honest, I've been flying the simulator real well lately. I may have to order a Blade CP, and maybe an Align 480... we'll see. I'm actually really lucky, to have this big indoor room at work to fly in... not everyone has such luxuries... I almost feel as though I'm wasting something, if I don't take my helicopter to work and fly it....

I've got my truck, my car, and my bike, all running good , at the same time..... sometimes, I think I'd be better off to trade my car and truck for an Escalade EXT... but then, a friend of mine at work, his truck died, and he had to rent a car for a week.... when my truck died, I drove my other car for a week.... so maybe it's not so bad, having a few rides laying around...

I just finished a real good book, Jeffrey Deaver, "The Vanished Man"... now truly, some people are really Jeffrey Deaver "True Believers", and that's great... I personally have other authors I like better, but he's GOOD, don't get me wrong.... and obviously, I keep reading his books... but, take it from me, this was a great great book.... superb effort on his part. And Amelia Sachs finally gets promoted, which is so long overdue, it's not funny.... note to authors: if I want to see deserving people continually get passed over for promotion, I'll show up at work!!! I've seen enough of it firsthand!! Ahem, sorry, I'm fine.... But yeah, check this one out. A true Gem from Deaver.

I'm continuing to progress through PGR3... keeps my mind off the cigs. I'll have to use the photo mode, and take some pictures of my garages full of cars... it's crazy, I earned the Ferrari Owners Badge, for owning every Ferrari in the game, and I still have 2.5 million dollars in the bank, to buy more cars.... crazy. I've set a personal goal to complete a championship each day, and to fly the helicopter a half hour each day, at least... and I'm seeing improvement in both, so... hey, a little self discipline... who knew it could work???

Well, I'm just a small doggie.... that's enough for one night.

Until next time! Went to Culver's Thursday for lunch.... ohhh yeah.
